Job Description:

  • Proactively finding opportunities and leads for business growth by creating and maintaining customer database.
  • Understanding client needs and providing a proposal which best suits their requirements.
  • Conducting event space site inspections outlining unique selling points to the client.
  • Achieving personal sales targets by converting leads into a business opportunity
  • Planning an event successfully from beginning to end.
  • Ensuring a well-executed event which exceeds customers expectations.
  • Communicating effectively and working closely with all concerned operations departments.
  • Attentively handle guest complaints and provide mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
  • Sustains relationship with key accounts.
  • Regularly runs reports, manages and updates the database within Salesforce and keeps financial records in accordance with the company policy.
  • Work collaboratively with the Group Director of Sales and other Event Managers.
  • Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
  • Stay up-to-date on current market trends.
  • Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Events or business administration degrees.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a previous Sales Role.
  • Excellent communication, sales and customer service skills
  • Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
  • Confident and dynamic personality
  • Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with external vendors and service providers.
  • Knowledge of Sales Force/Delphi preferred.
