JOB DESCRIPTION
- Understanding requirements for each event and planning event with attention to financial and time constraints
- Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
- Monitor and control costs, negotiate discounts, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
- Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g., tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Evaluate event's success and submit reports
- Leverage digital marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, and online advertising, to reach target audiences and increase event visibility
- Create event marketing collateral, including invitations, flyers, posters, email campaigns, and social media posts, to generate excitement and drive attendance
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma and above
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for on-site event management
