Events Intern
Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic
Events Intern to help with the planning, coordination, and execution of seminars/webinars for pregnant moms and parents with toddlers. This is a great opportunity to learn about events organisation and events marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Events Planning: Help with the organisation and execution of physical and virtual events, such as seminars and webinars. Tasks include sourcing for speakers, sourcing for venues, handling on-site setup and logistics, etc
- Events Marketing: Assist in creation of marketing materials and liaising with marketing teams to promote and drive registration for the events. Track performance and highlight to teams what messages are working well or not
- Sponsors Management: Assist with the management of event sponsors, ensuring sponsors entitlements are met, sponsors are briefed on event logistics
- Speakers Management: Assist with the management of speakers, ensuring content they are going to present is appropriate, slides are formatted properly
- Tracking and Reporting: Assist in tracking the performance of event registration, identify areas for improvement, and work with marketing teams to increase registration numbers
- Research Competitors: Help gather information about competitors events and identify opportunities to improve our strategies
Requirements:
- Interest in events management
- Strong communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Able to support weekend events (with time off in lieu)
