Dulwich College (Singapore) is recruiting an Examinations Assistant toprovide general administrative support to the Examinations Department in the Senior School. This is a full-time administrative role.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:
General:
- To ensure that the campus is a safe and pleasant place for the children, in line with DCSG policies
Supporting the role of others:
- To provide the Examination Lead with administrative support as required
Examinations
- Work under the direction of the Examinations Lead and Assistant Head to communicate with staff, parents and students in relation to entries for all examinations.
- Provide general administrative support in relation to all examinations - preparation of student lists, candidate cards, invigilators checklist, stationery trays, attendance registers, seating plans and exam materials etc.
- Facilitate the setup of exam venues, including the booking and setup of venues, displaying exam posters, IT/AV equipment.
- Support the Examinations Lead with the co-ordination and facilitation of Entrance examinations.
- Support the administration process and facilitation of End of Year and Mock exams - preparation of attendance registers, seating plans, collection and organization of exam papers from subject teachers.
- Support the administration process and facilitation of External examinations - entry submission, application of access arrangements and paper modifications preparation of word processor and scribe forms amendments, late entries, withdrawals, submission of coursework and forecast grades results and enquiries about results certificates and re-sits.
- Support the Enquiries about Results processes for external examinations between August - October.
- Support the Examinations Lead in the receipt and logging of all external examination materials, ensuring that all examination materials are stored and secured at all times in adherence with examination boards regulations.
- Assist in the collection, packing and couriering of Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) and completed exam scripts to examination boards.
- Invigilate exams when required.

- Receive examination certificates from all exam boards, collate and distribute copies to Upper Senior School for students remaining in DCSG, contact leaving families for forwarding addresses and organize courier of certificates by registered post.
Allother duties commensurate with the post.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of two years experience working in an administrative role which is customer-facing
- Experience of managing projects
- Experience working independently with little supervision, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and multi-task
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal politely and effectively with parents, students, and visitors to the College
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- Ability to communicate effectively with children
- Reliable, responsible, detail-oriented and flexible
- An understanding of the requirements for handling confidential and sensitive information
- A motivated self-starter who is able to use their own initiative
- Excellent computer skills, including the proficient use of Microsoft Office to complete tasks.
