Overview
The successful candidate will join the Global Trading & Treasury team to work as a Execution Trader with our portfolio managers. The candidate will be a motivated individual with 1-2 years relevant working experience preferred. Prior experience in trading is preferred but not essential. We believe this is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to build upon their experience in a demanding but rewarding environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Trading: execution of strategies across portfolios. Efficient and timely execution in the market of Equity cash instruments, derivatives and FX.
Portfolio implementation: implementation and monitoring of positions /strategies across portfolios.
Perform frequent portfolio rebalancing and adjustments.
Liaise with middle office, client service, IT and operations for all portfolio management related activities
Assisting with the monthly and quarterly Transaction Cost Analysis monitoring and reporting.
Ad-hoc duties as required, including but not limited to presentation preparation, reporting, assisting with team queries and resolution.
Job Requirements
University Degree.
Excellent quantitative skills essential.
Advanced skills within Excel essential.
Diligence, attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
A highly motivated team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to deliver work product to the highest of standards within a dynamic and deadline-driven environment,
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential,
A motivated self-starter with demonstrated experience of working independently and as part of a diverse team.
Additional Preferred Requirements
Coding skill such as python is advantageous
Knowledge of market dynamics, liquidity and trading practices, market convention
Familiar with electronic trading platforms (Enfusion and Bloomberg) and prior trading experience (buy side) is highly desirable
Theoretical knowledge of options and swaps
Working knowledge of Bloomberg
