    Our client is a leading manufacturer of network digital multifunction devices. They seek an Assistant Corporate Planning Manager (Japanese Speaking) to provide executive and strategic support to top management. This role involves administrative support, data analysis, research, strategic planning, and coordination of cross-divisional initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and contribute to growth and decision-making processes.

    Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Director of the Management Office.

    Responsibilities

    1) Administrative Support
    - Administrative support to Top management, including but not limited to calendar management, meetings (internal/external) coordination, travel arrangements, and expense claims.
    - Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
    - Plan day-to-day schedule in an efficient and error-free manner
    - Organize, plan and coordinate management events and meetings.
    - Collaborate with key management teams across divisions and countries to ensure alignment of initiatives and communications
    - Provide divisional administrative support relating to general administration, organizational changes and business continuity.

    2) Strategic Support
    - Support the Senior Leadership team in strategic planning, transformation and change management initiatives.
    - Conduct research to identify trends, opportunities and risks that impact the organization's strategic goals.
    - Analyse relevant data sets and extract meaningful insights to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
    - Keep abreast of current affairs, economic & industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies that may impact the - organization's strategic direction
    - Preparation of reports/presentation materials

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Requirements & Preferences

    (Must)
    - Possess a Bachelor's Degree in any field
    - Professional C-level (& secretaries) communication skills across Asia regional countries
    - At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as Corporate Planning or Business Support.
    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese (JLPT N2) to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking counterparts.
    - Proficient in MS Office Suite and Dala Analysis tools.
    - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience working in regional headquarters is advantageous.
    - Experience working in a Japanese company with an understanding of its culture.
    - Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with various stakeholders.
    - A strong willingness to learn new things
    - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    - Project coordination or management experience is a plus.
