We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role combines essential bookkeeping responsibilities with general administrative support, making it ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment. You'll support our management team with financial tasks, help streamline operations, and contribute to the efficient functioning of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Management: Handle essential bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and bank reconciliations.
- Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll activities to guarantee prompt and precise payments to employees.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports to support budget tracking and forecasting efforts.
- Tax and Audit Support: Coordinate with external accountants for tax preparation and assist in financial audit processes as required.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor company expenses against budgets, providing insights for cost management and suggesting areas for improvement.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist with various ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by management, showcasing adaptability to meet evolving startup needs.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of bookkeeping and administrative processes, proposing and implementing best practices.
- Operational Efficiency: Support the team in streamlining operations and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, enhancing overall organizational efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
