Clinical Resarch & Innovation Office aims to lead, promote and coordinate research culture and activities to support the development Tan Tock Seng Hospital into a reputable world-class research centre. CRIO foster research in the Hospital across the whole spectrum from basic biomedical research to heatlh services and population health research.
As an Executive in the team, you will provide administrative and operational support to all activities related to Clinical Research & Innovation Office (CRIO) services in the aspects of clinical research agreement and budget negotiations for collaborative agreement, research collaborations among institutions and patent management.
Agreements and Budget Negotiation
Reviewing agreements
Determine the type of agreement required for a particular study or collaboration clinical trial agreement, research collaborative agreement, materials transfer agreement, data transfer agreement, non-disclosure agreement (confidentiality) agreement, licensing agreement, and service agreement
Look at the operational and legal aspects of the agreement.
Liaise with the different stakeholders accordingly
Liaise with TTSH Legal Office for the legal aspects or NHG Research Development Office for intellectual property and commercialization aspects
Negotiate accordingly with Sponsors and other institutions
Upon execution of the agreements
Check to ensure that it is in accordance to the earlier agreed terms and highlight to the necessary parties the discrepancies (if any)
Advice the necessary parties the number of copies TTSH would require
Stamp the coin chop and initial on the agreement to indicate that the agreement had been reviewed by CRU
Ensuring all signatures is obtained (including electronic signatures)
Keep executed copy on file
Distribute the remainder copies accordingly.
Highlight to stakeholders their respective responsibilities and obligations.
Managing internal contract management system
Manage the budget preparation
Prepare the budget draft
Liaise according with the different stake holders
Negotiate accordingly with Sponsors and collaborators
Requirement
Bachelor Degree, preferable in Business or Health Science
Proficient in MS office applications
Strong oral and written communication skills, with problem-solving and analytical skills
Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time sensitive documents, meticulous and have exceptional organizational skills
Have a keen interest in research and managing research contracts
