As an Executive in the Community Engagement team, you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning and executing events and activities to achieve the fundraising and sponsorship goals of Dover Park Hospice. Besides having excellent communication skills, initiative and inventiveness, you should also be numerate, proficient in the use of CRM solutions and have a strong service disposition.
You will be part of a team charged with advancing the interests of Dover Park Hospice through active and effective engagement with its diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have relevant fundraising-related experience, passion for the cause of palliative care and be skilled at relationship management.
Plan and execute fundraising/sponsorship events and activities
- Process donations received through various collection channels efficiently and accurately
Develop and manage fruitful relationships with DPHs donors, sponsors and partners- Ensure that databases and website information are updated in a timely and effective manner
Work closely with DPH supporters and volunteers on the execution of events and activities
- Any other relevant tasks assigned by reporting manager(s)
Diploma or Degree in related discipline
- Possess excellent verbal and written communications/interpersonal skills
Works well independently and as part of a team- Proficient in the use of MS Office, CRM and Email Marketing software
Prepared to work late/weekends occasionally when needed
- Strong sense of compassion/interest in healthcare or social services
Candidates with relevant experience in fundraising/community engagement will have an advantage- Able to commence work at short notice
