The Programme Executive is responsible for the planning, development, operations and effective delivery of high quality MYMCA outreach programmes and services, and support other related activities in accordance with the philosophy and goals of Metropolitan YMCA.
Programme Management
- Undertakes responsibility to develop, execute and manage one or more programmes as assigned
- Works closely with supervisor to evaluate programme impact and outcome for sustainability and growth
- Proposes programme enhancements and recommendations to innovate for meaningful impact
Project Management
- Works closely with fellow colleagues in related outreach projects for positive community transformation
- Assists in raising community awareness of programmes and planning, coordination and execution of fund-raising and volunteering activities
Resource and Relationship
- Works collaboratively with supervisor, other outreach departments and resource development department to liaises with appropriate agencies for resources and towards delivering impactful programmes
- Builds, establishes and manages effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Orientates, supervises and evaluates new volunteers, and works with existing pool of volunteers in developing and strengthening the programmes of the department
- Works actively and collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g. volunteers, schools, churches, corporate bodies, government agencies, other voluntary organisations)
- Makes presentations related to outreach programmes
Administration
- Ensures that all administration work like maintaining accurate records, information and database related to our beneficiaries, volunteers, and partners are captured, correct and updated and easily accessible and kept as intellectual properties of the Association
- Collects, updates and analyses information and data for reporting and evaluation purposes
- Prepares programme updates for monthly management reports.
- Assists in planning the annual goals, objectives and budget.
- Supports in communicating the purpose and impact of the Association's programmes through appropriate media channels
Pre-requisites
- A Diploma or Degree Holder
- Passionate in social services, especially in working with the disadvantaged from families and community groups such as children and seniors
- Experience in community services (programmes or events) and/or social service-related courses will be advantageous
Technical Requirements
- Experience in programme and project/event management
- Good standard of numeracy and budgeting
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak a second language will useful in working with specific community groups
- Good standard of computer competency and literacy, especially in Ms Office, Excel and PowerPoint
