Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with course coordinators to prepare the necessary environment for the lab sessions or assessment.
- Ensure availability of technical manuals / specifications as and when needed.
- Conduct regular inspection on equipment to ensure readiness of teaching resources and equipment.
- Assist in preparation of computer images for virtualization streaming to lab PCs.
- Support lab supervisors in conducting quiz session or assessment
- Ensure quick response to equipment failure by diagnosing and troubleshooting the fault.
- Manage and maintain lab assets by ensuring proper recording of lab equipment.
- Support the purchase of lab equipment
- Ensure equipment's upgrade to support lab curriculum.
- Proactively manage daily lab operations and workplace safety in compliance with NTU guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Min. a Diploma with 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution.
- Knowledge in writing and debugging codes in C++, Python, JavaScript and others
- Knowledge in managing and creating Database,
- Administrating LAN environment linking to estimated 400 units of computers
- Good teamworking skills
- Proficient in time management
- IT savvy, proficient in MS Office applications
- Meticulous and organized, with the ability to multi-task
- Proactive, analytical and resourceful
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
- Good sense of initiative and responsibility and positive working attitude
- Tactful and able to demonstrate empathy whenever necessary
