Executive / Senior Engineer, Asset Management
Job Purpose
The Executive / Senior Engineer is responsible for development and implementation of asset management processes within the Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) Group. The core focus of the job function will be managing and implementing asset management processes to ensure reliability and availability of operating assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset management plans and processes including spares management, alternate parts, and obsolescence management.
- Work with maintenance branches to establish and maintain a comprehensive database for spares, tools, and other critical equipment for M&E group.
- Coordinate with branches on spares and materials requisition, including preparation of approval papers.
- Manage and coordinate applications and requests for any asset modification within the rail network.
- Coordinate, collate and prepare performance and maintenance plans and reports across the branches for submission to the authorities.
- Facilitate and coordinate external projects with LTA and/or external parties. 7. May be required to perform work during night hours and over weekends/public holidays.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree in Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of Asset Management and Quality Management standards such as ISO 9000/14000/18000/55000.
- Prior work experience in the asset management field or statistical process control will be advantageous.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge in statistical software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is advantageous.
