What You'll Do
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the Onshore Receiving Facilities / Gasholder station
- Plan and implement maintenance schedule to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Onshore Receiving Facilities / Gasholder station and its associated equipment including electrical installation
- Plan and supervise servicing of electrical equipment such as switchgear, switchboards and transformers in accordance with Singapore Standards
- Plan, organize and execute renewal of assets in Onshore Receiving Facilities / Gasholder station
- Plan, organize and execute commissioning / decommissioning of Onshore Receiving Facilities / Gasholder station equipment and piping
- Review and ensure adherence to safe works practices
- Formulate, review and implement standard operating procedures, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures
- Ensure the adequate stocking of spares, and initiate purchase when required, for routine maintenance and emergencies
- Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to maintain operational readiness
- Plan and review the monthly shift roster for shift personnel
- Prepare specifications for procurement and initiate calling and evaluation of quotation/tenders
- Train and upgrade skill of the section to maintain competence in the operation and maintenance of the Onshore Receiving Facilities / Gasholder station
- Conduct / participate in emergency exercises
- Plan and provide budget for the Section
- Monitor expenditures within approved budget
- Responsible for the administration and/or welfare of the staff, e.g. transport, overtime, medical claims and etc
- Responsible for regulatory compliance under NEA Aerosol Generating Systems and MOM Pressure Vessel licenses
- Perform Standby Duties after office hours
- Any other duties / works assigned by the Head of Section
What You'll Need
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline from recognised university by PEB, Singapore.
- Experience in operations and maintenance in gas transmission network or gas facility or plant would be advantageous
- Skills in project planning, execution and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous
- Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
