What You'll Do
- Manage new and ongoing projects spanning the domains of Solar PV, Energy Storage Systems, Electrical grid etc. Ensure all projects are managed and carried out safely, timely, within budget and according to the agreed specifications and requirements.
- Perform on-site verification of installation, testing and commissioning.
- Liaise with customers, internal team members, SP Group sections and all stakeholders on all project requirements, approvals, and clearance.
- Calling Quotation or Tender for projects
- Perform Contractor Management and Site work supervision for contractors.
- Perform system integrating, system monitoring and engineering works.
- Review and approve project deliverables with on-site verification of installation.
- Attend Site Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance tests when required.
- Responsible for settlement related operations and documentations for customers
- Attend and response to emergency call outs during installation.
- Entails weekend works such as hoisting/shutdown and night shutdown.
- Responsible to hand over project to Operation team and all stakeholders.
- Manage ongoing operation matters and on-site verification of maintenance and inspection.
- Able to analyse and evaluate technical and statistical data.
- Provide necessary corrective and preventive actions.
- Support projects in Site surveys for tender and review tender technical requirements & ensure compliance with all requirements.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Innovative and strong team player, capable of working cross functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in managing and handling infrastructure or industrial projects, preferably Solar PV projects in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Possess strong technical knowledge on PV system design/engineering, project execution (renewable a plus), budget management, execution, and reporting.
- Effective communication skills to understand customer needs and the ability to coordinate and implement project from technical proposals, design to testing & commissioning to O&M stage.
- Understanding of relevant codes and regulations governing PV Solar Systems in Singapore
- Understanding of calculation related to basic electrical & mechanical structural.
- Possess of WSH certification in Construction Safety Course for Project Managers and Managing Work-at-Heights Course (a plus)
