This role provides support to the Group's Legal Department & Data Protection Office.
This role is a one year contract.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Data Protection Officer in overseeing data protection responsibilities, ensuring strict compliance with Singapore's PDPA and other relevant privacy policies and regulations.
- Assist in conducting data protection impact assessments to integrate requirements into relevant processes and systems and conduct regular assessments to identify gaps and measures to mitigate data protection risks.
- Stay informed on latest data privacy regulations and industry standards, implementing necessary policy updates and process enhancements for compliance.
- Provide guidance, briefing and sharing session on data protection best practices and ensure awareness of data protection obligations among staff.
- Scheduling of meetings/appointments.
- Assist with filing and recording of agreements, contract templates, PDPA files and other documentation.
- Preparation of reports.
- Other administrative duties such as procurement, processing and recording with invoices, claims and other office matters.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline
- Certification in Personal Data Protection (Singapore)
- At least 2 years relevant experience in data protection work
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Good command of spoken and written English and communication skills.
- IT savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Positive work attitude, adaptable and willing to learn.
- A team player, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
