Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform schedule arrangement including informing relevant parties
- Conduct vessel operations for safe passage and saving of bunker
- Communicate clearly and timely with Vessel Master, agent and other stakeholders for smooth and efficient operations
- Arrange bunker with cost efficiency and effectiveness as primary focus by working with all relevant parties
- Coordinate and arrange for vessel repairs in a suitable circumstances to minimize cost and downtime
- Monitor port situations (i.e. congestion, etc.) and make necessary adjustments to schedule
- Ensure all arrangements for new delivery or re-delivery as per checklist are followed
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Transportation or Logistics or relevant discipline
- 2 - 3 years of experience in liner shipping operations
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work with various stakeholders
- Team player and able to work independently under pressure
- Experience in MS Suite
- Competency certificate class 3 not a must but would be welcome
