Atomionics is looking for a motivated physics intern with a keen interest in cold atom physics. Responsibilities
- Assist toward the development of cold atom sensors by laser cooling atoms to almost absolute zero, performing atom interferometry experiments, etc.
Conduct experimental testing to understand the environmental effects on quantum sensors- Analyze experimental data and propose appropriate methods to refine the quantum sensors
About you- An absolutely driven individual with creative problem solving skills, analytical mind, and persistence, ideally demonstrated
Curious and interested to learn about cold atom physics and push the limits of applying physics outside the laboratory environment
- Excited about interdisciplinary understanding of systems
Even better if you have
- Experience in cold atom physics theory or experiments
Experience working with lasers and optics- Working knowledge of Python
