Position Overview:
The Outdoor Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales in the hardware sector by building strong customer relationships and identifying new sales opportunities. The role involves working closely with contractors, builders, and industrial clients to promote the company's hardware products and meet sales targets. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Sales and Business Development:
. Actively seek out new sales opportunities by visiting potential customers in assigned regions.
. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to secure repeat business.
. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate hardware products or solutions.
. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
2.Customer Relationship Management:
. Conduct regular site visits to client locations, including construction sites, workshops, and other relevant environments.
. Provide after-sales support to clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
. Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner to maintain customer satisfaction.
3.Product Knowledge and Demonstrations:
. Stay updated on the full range of company hardware products and services, including tools, construction materials, machinery, and safety equipment.
. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers to highlight product features and benefits.
. Provide technical advice and support on product usage and maintenance.
4.Market Analysis and Reporting:
. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for growth.
. Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, product improvements, and market developments.
. Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
5.Sales Administration:
. Maintain accurate records of sales visits, customer interactions, and sales progress.
. Assist with preparing quotations, proposals, and contracts for customers.
. Coordinate with internal departments, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure timely delivery of products.
Requirements:
. Nitec/Diploma/Degree in any field
. Some sales experience will be preferred
. Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with English & Mandarin speaking clients
. Comfort with multi-tasking independently in a deadline-driven environment
. Good time management skills
. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
. Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
. Passion for the b2b hardware industry and its best practices
. Car ownership will be a plus
Working Hours
Weekdays 8.30am - 5:30pm
Every Saturday 8.30am -12:30pm
After probation, alternate Saturday
