F&B Operations Manager

• Oversee daily business operations, including service standards, inventory control, and staff management.
• Establishing long-term business goals and objectives to improve overall performance of the business.
• Analyse financial reports and implement strategies to increase profitability.
• Monitor and manage budgets, including cost control for food, beverages, and labor.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to improve staff performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supplies and equipment.
• Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving complaints or issues promptly.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience and service quality.
• Ensure menu items are cost-effective and align with customer preferences.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote food and beverage offerings.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of supplies while minimizing waste.
• Oversee procurement process for food, beverages, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and incorporate them into the menu.
• Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements related to food and beverage operations.
• Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in food and beverage preparation and presentation.
• Perform all ad hoc assignment delegated by management.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in the relevant managerial role
• Must have relevant experience in Japanese Food & Beverage industry
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to perform flexible working schedule, including weekends and/or holidays
• Possess good verbal, written and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
