Programme Oversight & Strategic Development

  • Lead the development and management of specialized training programs (Bakery, Caf, and Catering)
  • Ensure programs meet industry standards and align with trainees skill development needs.
  • Collaborate with external partners like ASTONS to enhance program offerings.
  • Plan and oversee new recipe development and seasonal menu offerings in line with market trends.

Team Leadership & Staff Mentoring

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to instructors in Bakery, Caf, and Catering
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance on instructional strategies.

Trainee Management & Development

  • Monitor trainee progress and adjust training methods as needed.
  • Collaborate with job coaches, allied professionals, and caregivers to support holistic trainee development
  • Ensure assessments (Standards of Work Performance, Progress Reports)

Operational Oversight & Compliance

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Bakery, Caf, and Catering units
  • Oversee compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standard
  • Manage bookings and reservations for events with the support of instructors, communications and partnerships

Partnership & CSR Engagement

  • Identify new partners and nurture existing collaborations with businesses and sponsors
  • Coordinate CSR initiatives involving F&B programs to enhance community impact
  • Organize events and activities with corporate partners that align with APSN's mission

Financial & Resource Management

  • Monitor program budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals
  • Plan and oversee resource utilization, including ingredients, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure the financial sustainability of F&B programs through careful cost management.

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in Special Needs Education, Disabilities Studies, F&B Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supervisory or Managerial position in the F&B industry
  • Expertise in F&B industry operations, including food safety (HACCP, SFA) and enterprise management
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Strong networking and partnership development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
