As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer, you will be leading engineering and maintenance works in the fields of Mechanical equipment and system on site, to achieve continual improvement to system robustness, reliability and efficiency with the necessary guidance and direction from Facilities organization, to achieve facilities department, site, facilities corporate and company goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for Facilities mechanical systems including HVAC, exhaust systems, scrubbers, process cooling water, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressed air systems, Fire protection system and cleanroom air systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
- Plan, design and lead mechanical system expansion projects to facilitate tool utilities demand of future technology of manufacturing equipment.
- Plan, design and lead mechanical engineering projects includes new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement.
- Respond and problem solving of system issues and production interruptions to mechanical related systems.
- Perform capacity tracking and planning for mechanical systems.
- Enforce to company's environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work.
- Apply computer base software to document and analyses records of maintenance work order, equipment history and project tracking.
- Maintain maintenance record for system fault history traceability.
- Proficient in quality tool such as 8D & 5 WHY analysis for troubleshooting or incidents.
- Initiate and lead energy savings & sustainability projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
- Design and Engineering background of mechanical system such as HVAC system and Exhaust system will be of good advantage.
- Ability to understand and use schematic, single-line drawing and related equipment and system documentation.
- Ability to work in a team environment with various professional level.
- Considerable knowledge and application of problem solving and data analysis methodology.
- Considerable knowledge of maintenance practices and procedure and installation work.
