[What the role is]
The role of Facilities Engineer is to plan, implement and maintain Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and apply engineering principles and techniques to optimise M&E systems to meet organisation needs.
[What you will be working on]
- In-charge of operations and maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical (M&E) systems.
- Manage outsourced Integrated Facilities Maintenance (IFM) and Building Management System (BMS) services providers to provide smooth, reliable, safe and efficient services.
- Attend and manage service breakdown, service request and preventive maintenance.
- Propose, implement and manage improvement initiatives to improve system reliability, operational effectiveness, productivity, reduce cost and/or resources (eg energy and water).
- Ensure actual expenditure for service repair to be in-line with the budget requested.
- Do submission to respective government agencies and statutory boards for compliance to the regulatory requirements.
- Liaise, coordinate and implement assigned addition and alteration work requests.
- Liaise with government agencies and statutory boards with regards to implementation of new regulatory requirements and ascertain the adherence to existing regulatory requirements.

- Good team player, self-driven and service-oriented.
- Preferably experience in predictive maintenance for M&E systems.
- Preferably able to prepare engineering specifications and estimates for a wide range of facility related projects.
- Preferably equipped with knowledge of regulatory requirements and codes of practice related to M&E systems.
