Job Title: Family Teacher
Working Hours: 6 Days per Week, 1:00 PM 8:00 PM
Salary: $3,500 - $5,000 (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Teacher to support the holistic development of four children aged 5 to 10 years old. The ideal candidate will provide personalized academic guidance, encourage creativity, and foster essential life skills in a nurturing home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Support:
- Conduct lessons in English and Mandarin, tailored to each child's learning level and school curriculum.
- Introduce creative learning techniques to make studying enjoyable and effective.
- Assist with homework, projects, and exam preparation in both languages.
- Foster bilingual literacy and fluency through reading, writing, and conversational practice.
Skill Development:
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
- Cultivate good study habits, time management, and organizational skills.
- Foster social skills through teamwork and group activities.
Recreational and Creative Activities:
- Organize and lead art, music, or hands-on activities to inspire creativity.
- Include playtime to balance structured learning with recreation.
Character Building:
- Instill discipline, respect, and responsibility in daily interactions.
- Act as a positive role model and mentor for the children.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring young children, ideally within the 5-10 age range.
- Ability to engage children with fun and effective teaching methods.
- Patience, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Education or Early Childhood Development (preferred).
