Singapore Family Tutor/Child Companion Position
1. Location: Orchard
2. About the Family: Chinese family with a 2.5-year-old child, starting kindergarten next month.
3. Job Responsibilities:
- Child Engagement and Development - Provide targeted early education activities to support the child's development, including language, motor skills, communication, and hands-on activities. This includes engaging in English conversation, reading storybooks, and creating learning and early education plans.
- Assist the Mother with Personal Affairs - Support in managing daily household tasks and scheduling, including light supervision of household helpers (such as the domestic helper and driver) and arranging appointments for dining, transportation, medical visits, etc.
4. Working Hours:
- Live-in preferred (with a private room and full board of three meals daily). For non-live-in, working hours can be discussed. Flexible rest days are available upon discussion.
5. Salary: SGD 8,000-10,000 per month, depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and specific responsibilities.
6. Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (required because the child currently only speaks Chinese, so the tutor should be able to communicate in Chinese with the child while gradually introducing English)
- Experience as a preschool teacher or family tutor
