Job Description
The position is responsible for trading a basket of feedstuff commodities . The incumbent will be part of a team with responsibility for devising, coordinating and executing regional trading strategies. We are looking for individuals with a strong interest and track record in commodities trading, someone who has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities
Manage and achieve PNL targets on certain commodity lines
Develop and execute on trading strategies for both international and local trade
Oversee market and freight risk and execution to ensure the timely and efficient execution of contracts
Liaising with origins and destination ADM offices to ensure an efficient least-cost supply chain as well as contractual contract execution
Identifying and executing arbitrage opportunities that add value to the Group
Compiling and distributing accurate market information and communicating this with other members of the Group and the wider ADM divisions
Your Profile
Bachelor Degree with business/economic/trading background preferred
Minimum 3-5 years commercial experience, including trading and logistics in agricultural commodities
Previous experience on container flow will be a plus
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Conducts business with high level of ethics
High level of analytical thinking with strong self-initiative
Entrepreneurial mind-set
Willingness to travel
Ability to work well under pressure
Mandarin language proficiency to communicate with overseas clients/suppliers will be a bonus
