You will be responsible for FF&E in all design phases (Ph1 to PH4), from design process to project concept, branding, sourcing products, preparing sample boards and producing specitfication and schedules including to obtain material unit cost reference information.
Your role will include but not limited to:
- Working closely with design team in concept and design development.
- Responsible to select and prepare FF&E presentation of materials and finishes.
- Coordinating with design team in developing furniture layout, perspectives and 2D/3D renderings.
- Working closely with Design teams to ensure designs are in accordance to contractual and client's agreement.
- Ensuring that project assignments are completed within the given deadline.
- Working closely and assist in co-ordination with consultants and clients when the need arises.
- Preparing full sets of FF&E specifications and documentations for tender & construction drawings.
- Reviewing of shop drawings from suppliers and contractors.
- Attending site meetings and site/factory inspection to review materials and furniture.
- Flexibility in handling multiple projects.
- Assisting in overseeing the work & performance of FF&E designers
- Able to coordinator, delegate, give feedback, and mentor subordinates regarding their work
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Architectural or Interior Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in FF&E especially in hospitality industry.
- Creativity and artistic flair.
- Able to interpret specifications and layouts.
- Passionate and aware of global design trends and FF&E supplies.
- Experienced in handling projects in all design phases.
- Knowledge of site work and progress will be advantage.
- Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture and fixtures).
- Strong in design detailing and freehand sketching would be advantage.
- Good knowledge of drawing preparation and CAD standard, strong organizational skill and attentive to detail.
