Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Field Application Engineer (Semicon/Electronics Components):
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sale technical support for connectivity modules to expand business in ASEAN, India, and Oceania regions, supporting local sales/product engineers for design wins.
- Collaborate on pre-sales technical support to secure design wins and grow regional business.
- Work closely with product engineers to enhance technical troubleshooting and installation schemes.
- Deliver in-field product training and engineering services to key customers.
- Develop and propose feasible solutions (including Proof of Concept) for customers and internal teams, especially in the IoT/wireless domain.
- Facilitate the integration of sensors and wireless communication products into customer applications.
- Lead technical innovation projects to support product promotion activities.
- Manage technical collaborations with third-party companies to create joint solutions and business opportunities.
- Develop, test, and validate new application use cases for regional market segments using company products.
- Create and design application-focused technical marketing materials for business development.
- Provide technical expertise for new business creation projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or any related field.
- Min 2-3 year of working experience in application engineer
- Proficiency in embedded programming, particularly in C on Linux or embedded operating systems, with a focus on IoT applications.
- Strong system and software debugging skills on embedded platforms, with experience using various IDEs.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, digital circuits, analog circuits, and A/D conversion processes.
- Experience in algorithm development for analog sensors or sensors with digital outputs.
- Experience in evaluating wireless or sensor devices using testing equipment.
- Ability to quickly prototype or create Proof of Concepts (PoC) using Evaluation/Development kits or platforms like Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
