Field Application Engineer / Senior Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

. Represent the company as the technical person to internal & external customers and partners in the assigned geographical region

. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and internal sales team, handling customer NDA and sample request

. Collect customers feedback and provide recommendation to customer for design requirements, product enhancements and capture new product opportunities

. Responsible for identifying and clarifying any technical issues related to new or existing products, and clearly communicate findings to the respective business unit

. Hands-on technical support to customers, documenting problems, and suggesting solutions

. Report design, reliability and functional problems to the appropriate groups within company & associate groups and work to solve problems

Requirements:

. Degree in Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent

. 5 years of technical customer support experience in semiconductor industry

. Field experience or hands-on practice or knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development

. Knowledge of Smart Card, RFID and microcontroller products knowledge of physical access control and the security industry is desirable

. Experience with or knowledge of one or more of: CCD, CMOS image sensors, image capture, video standards, image processing
