Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager specialized in Swimming Pool Maintenance to oversee and manage our field service operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, ensuring the smooth execution of pool maintenance and repair services, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Job Scope:
- Supervise, train, and lead a team of technicians responsible for swimming pool maintenance and repairs.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and skill development.
- Plan and schedule service visits, considering client needs, resource availability, and service requirements.
- Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure adherence to high-quality service standards and safety protocols in all maintenance and repair activities.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain the quality of work and compliance with industry regulations.
- Address any deficiencies promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Interface with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships.
- Manage inventory levels, procure supplies, and coordinate logistics to support field operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians when troubleshooting complex issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to track service history, equipment status, and customer interactions.
- Implement best practices and initiatives to elevate service quality and optimize team performance.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations related to swimming pool maintenance, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in swimming pool maintenance, with at least 7 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proficient understanding of swimming pool systems, equipment, and maintenance practices. Knowledge of water chemistry, filtration, pumps, and related components.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing anddeveloping teams, fostering a positive work environment, and achieving performance targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks, managing resources efficiently, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and ensure effective solutions.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in pool maintenance and water chemistry are preferred. (Pool/spa operator course, Pool inspection Course, etc.)
- Valid Driving license (Class 3)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Facilities Management) or equivalent practical experience.
