Finance Analyst (1 year Contract)

Basic Purpose / General Objective:

• Key role that serves as the financial analyst for Asia regional office and Asia Commercial that covers Crude and Global LNG.

Key responsibilities
. Accounting support for Crude and LNG activities, including actualizing volume in Commercial system to accurately capture and report inventories, invoicing and associated A/R and A/P.
. Derivative monthly MTM accounting, and related financial statement reporting.
. Coordination and preparation of the Asia Commercial budget and outlooks.
. Work with Commercial management to provide analysis and ad hoc reporting.
. Work closely with Houston Commercial Coordinator to maintain and update SOX internal controls and process maps.
. Provide and coordinate data for external reporting such as audit, tax, government questionnaire and statutory statistic surveys.
. Provide cover for other team members as required.

Basic Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance related.
. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and networks
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Strong financial and/or accounting acumen.
. Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
. Effective communication, influential and interpersonal skills.
. Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase capabilities required.
. Strong SAP FI user.

Preferred Skill and Experience
. 3-5 years experience in financial analysis in an Oil/Gas/LNG trading setting.
. Commercial applications such as RightAngle and TriplePoint.
