Job Description

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join their team in Singapore. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels in data analysis, forecasting, and financial planning. The Finance Analyst will support business decisions through financial reporting, variance analysis, and budget management, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making, identifying trends and potential risks.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and support budget and forecast processes.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide commentary on variances to management, enabling proactive adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business outcomes and support long-term planning.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to assess the financial impact of new initiatives and changes in the business.
  • Provide support in the preparation of presentation materials for management and investors.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and identify areas for process improvement and automation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field CFA, CPA, or other professional certification is an advantage.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a financial analysis or similar role, preferably within a multinational corporation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and experience with tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other financial software.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
