Finance and Accounting Officer (Central/ $5,000) (ID: 659504)

Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Finance and Accounting Officer.

SUMMARY

Candidate supports the Senior Manager in operational financial activities, such as treasury, internal control, audit, and financial budgeting for Company. The officer will also be involved in projects to improve existing processes and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Update cash flow forecast, monitor bank account balance working capital usage, execute daily cash settlement, maintain import LC information.
• Assist in providing budget in relation to financing activities
• Execute the accounting administration for trade transactions in compliance with internal control, closing journals and fair value evaluation etc.
• Execute the administration for operating expenses in compliance with internal control. Providing support / advises on accounting treatment for OPEX expenses.
• Maintain accounting system and get involved in enhancement or implementation of Trading and Expense Management system

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in banking and finance, a professional certificate in accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience (full bookkeeping)
• Proficient in financial administration and management.
• Possesses up-to-date accounting standards for good operational practices.
• Familiar and proficient with the use of basic IT equipment and software such as Microsoft Excel, word. For Excel, candidates must possess advance Excel proficiency e.g. Functions, Pivot table, V-lookup.
• Advance accounting software skills, and proficiency in use of international accounting software (SAP, etc. preferably, SAP GBS system).
