Role Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Analyst to join our finance team, with a focus on overseeing financial operations at our subsidiaries in Batam and China. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.
Supervise and collaborate with subsidiary management teams to analyze financial performance, identify key drivers, and provide insights to support decision-making.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analysis for management meetings at subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of information.
Conduct regular visits to subsidiaries (at least once a month) to attend management meetings, build relationships with local teams, and gain insights into local market dynamics.
Serve as a liaison between headquarters and subsidiaries, facilitating communication, alignment of goals, and implementation of strategic initiatives.
Forecasting, budgeting, planning, and costing processes for company and its subsidiaries to provide business support and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Evaluate investment opportunities, assess financial risks, and provide recommendations to optimize returns and mitigate risks within the subsidiaries operations.
Monitor and analyse financial trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting the subsidiaries, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and maximize value creation across the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
At least 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business consulting, or related roles, preferably in a multinational company.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and driving results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to subsidiaries (once a month or more) to attend management meetings and build relationships with local teams.
