Key Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Operations: Oversee accounting functions like billing, accounts receivable and payable, and revenue recognition to keep our processes running smoothly.
- Optimize Cash Flow: Track transactions and internal reports to maximize returns and minimize risks through smart cash management.
- Budget and Cost Management: Regularly review financial plans to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure Data Accuracy: Analyse financial reports for discrepancies and implement systems to maintain data integrity.
- Compliance Oversight: Develop financial reporting systems to meet regulatory requirements and collaborate with auditors for compliance.
- Present Financial Insights: Prepare and present financial information in meetings to guide decision-making.
- Safeguard Assets: Establish and enforce internal controls to protect the organization's resources.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Finance Controller and contribute to team goals.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned finance professional with over 5 years of experience in financial management & well experienced with finance audits. You hold a recognized accountancy qualification and possess a strong track record in corporate accounting, budgeting and financial reporting. With exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, you possess resilience and grit, as this role requires navigating challenges while maintaining a structured approach to work. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration, along with proficiency in MS Office, advance excel and ERP systems which would set you up to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment while maintaining high integrity and professionalism.
- Professional Credentials: Member of a recognized accountancy body or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 5+ years in a similar role with a strong track record in financial management and audits. Nice to have - regional experience with entities across southeast asia.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to build effective relationships.
- Tech Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, excel and ERP, with the ability to present analytical results clearly.
- Trustworthy: Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
