A global shipping company is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their Singapore office as an additional new headcount.

Your new role

Finance Business Partnering

- Partner with regional stakeholders to drive business growth, achieving objectives and targets through collaborative support.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial insights, enabling informed decision-making.

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Prepare and analyse consolidated budgets, forecasts (monthly/quarterly), and performance reports to ensure goal attainment.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including voyage performance, utilisation, and unit revenue by service.

Strategic Decision Support

- Provide actionable insights through trend analysis, charts, and reporting.
- Develop monthly management reporting decks for stakeholder updates.

Process Improvement & Automation

- Identify and implement process enhancements and automation initiatives.

Ad-Hoc Analysis & Special Projects

- Conduct in-depth analyses for new investments, service expansions, and equipment replacement.
- Perform financial data validation, modelling, and other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

What you'll need to succeed

You will require a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance and at least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in business partnership, financial planning & analysis or similar functions required. You are someone with strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail, to translate data into actionable insights. You are proficient in financial modelling, data analysis, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel/MS PowerPoint/MS Word. Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
