The Finance Director, Global Manufacturing and Distribution Controlling is responsible for overseeing the financial management of WSAudiology's manufacturing and distribution operations worldwide. This role is critical in optimizing cost efficiency, supporting strategic growth, and ensuring financial governance across both production and distribution functions.
What you will do
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies supporting global manufacturing and distribution.
- Lead long-term planning, financial modeling, and decision support for production and logistics.
- Collaborate with senior operations leaders to improve cost efficiency and drive growth initiatives.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Reporting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across global manufacturing and distribution sites.
- Provide senior management with timely financial analysis, KPIs, and performance insights.
- Analyze variances against budgets and forecasts, taking corrective actions when needed.
Cost Control & Optimization
- Establish cost control measures across manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
- Work with teams to optimize production and repair costs.
- Ensure rigorous evaluation and tracking of CAPEX investments.
Internal Controls, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Oversee inventory valuation and cost accounting processes.
- Manage internal and external audits to ensure financial compliance.
Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Lead and mentor finance teams across manufacturing and distribution sites.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, engineering, and operations teams to align financial objectives.
- Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior executives.
What you bring
- Proven experience in cost accounting, financial modeling, and strategic planning within manufacturing and distribution
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Infor) and advanced financial reporting tools
- Deep understanding of global manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and distribution processes
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and mentoring cross-functional finance teams
- Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost management practices within manufacturing and distribution contexts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels and functions
