We are looking for an experienced finance professional with relevant accounting experience to assist the SFM/FM in Finance Operations. This role will report to the SFM/FM and GM.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports, e.g. Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, etc.
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Provide analytical review of monthly financial performance, highlighting key variances and investigate exceptions
- Prepare and co-ordinate forecasts and annual budgets for review and approval
- Ensure budgetary controls are in place
- Ensure accurate and timely cost and revenue accruals
- Review payment vouchers and supporting documents
- Prepare bank and related parties reconciliation, if required
- Prepare quarterly GST computation/submission, if required
- Prepare and maintain monthly fixed assets (FA) register
- Assist in financial year end closing
- Assist to develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures, policies and internal control
- Assist and support in new processes as and when required and undertake ad hoc projects as assigned
Key Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Finance Executive with experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Preferably over 3-5 years of relevant finance and accounting related experience and expertise in financial processes, controls, risk management and corporate governance areas.
- Minimum Diploma in Business/Accountancy
- Digitally-savy and competent with finance systems
- Proficient in MS Office and Powerpoint
