Finance Executive (East) / Logistics industry

Our client is a logistics and supply chain company specializing in air freight services. They are looking for a Finance Officer/Executive to assist their Facilities team for the next phrase of their business. They are located at East of Singapore- easily accessible. The Finance Officer is responsible for:

Duties

• Maintain the general ledger by posting accurate and timely journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments, reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports, and conduct variance analyses.
• Oversee fixed assets by updating the register, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, support tax filings, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Aid in audits, manage cash flow, prepare forecasts, and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent ACCA or equivalent qualification will be added advantage.
• Min 2 years of related working experience, preferably in the airfreight and logistics industry.
• Proficiency in financial accounting and reporting.
