The Opportunity
The Finance Executive reports into the Financial Manager and is responsible for the control of media project and client billing lifecycle.
Ensure media plans and cost estimates are signed-off on a timely basis and client purchase orders are received prior to work commencing
Ensure WIP accounts are reconciled and reviewed to ensure timely billing and recovery of costs
Regular meetings with Business teams to ensure media costs are closely monitored, manage billing queries/disputes and status of media plans are updated timely
Ensure timely and accurate billing to clients
Ensure timely payments to vendors
Preparation of monthly reports and balance sheet schedules with commentaries
Ensure compliance with audit, statutory and client requirements
Participate and coordinate the commercial team in statutory, internal and client audits exercises.
Streamlining and improving the billings and reconciliation process and identifying areas of performance improvement
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Ideally
Graduate in Accounting and Finance
Fresh graduates are welcomed
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Able to work independently as well as within a team
Analytical and detail-oriented
Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in Media Agency or MNCs will be advantageous
