Finance Executive (Tuas - 5 day Hydrid)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
Probation period: Fully on-site

After confirmation:Typically Work from Home- 2 Days, Work in Office 3 Days Onsite - Monday, Tuesday & Friday (depend on company arrangement)

Incumbent will be in charge of mainly 3 entities :

1. Responsible for General Ledger (GL), Fixed Asset and Inventory functions
2. Prepare and post journal entries during month end financial close
3. Perform variance and trend analysis at entity level
4. Responsible for month end closing, yearly financial closing and quarterly reporting
5. Correspond and resolve operational issues with various other departments
6. Prepare balance sheet schedules
7. Prepare quarterly GST submission and attend external bodies enquiries
8. Assist in the annual budgeting exercise
9. Handle audit and tax matters for the entity
10. Any other tasks/projects assigned by Group accountant

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting
• At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar capacity with knowledge in full set account
• Proficient in MS applications (i.e. Word, Excel pivot table, vlookup, PowerPoint).
• Analytical thinking, detail oriented with good organisational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills for presenting financial data
• SG / PR only.
