Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead and manage the accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance functions within our organization. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, driving process improvements, and ensuring adherence to local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management reports for the Group and its entities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, and vendor reconciliations.
- Monitor banking functions to support smooth operational flow.
- Prepare and submit GST filings and other statutory reports, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits, liaising with auditors for timely and efficient audit completion.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls, safeguarding company assets and ensuring policy compliance.
- Mentor and lead the finance and accounting team, providing training and support to enhance skills and performance.
- Identify and execute process improvements within the finance and accounting functions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field professional accounting certification (CPA/ACCA) preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial control or a similar role, ideally within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry.
- In-depth knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience supervising 2-3 team members preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
