Job Responsibilities:
10% Talent & Team development
- Identify and onboard talent
- Coaching : Weekly feedback / coaching sessions with team members
- EVP : Driver and Example of GPTW
- PDP : Drive training & development of talent
- Support communication with other functions
- KPI : Manage performance of team
40% Accounting for all legal entities of the organization (active and dormant)
- Ensure compliance to government requirements
- Management of Full Accounts - Account Payable, Account Receivable, OPEX, P&L, Balance Sheet
- Management of global bank relationships
30% Finance & Controlling
- Provision of management reports on performance, pricing, margins and business development
- Escalate finance-related matters issues to board and line managers
20% Operational Supervision
- Daily operations in regards to project profitability and expenses
- Preparation and documentation of Finance-related topics in Board Meetings
- Monitor legal calendar
- Collection activity to be much more and more time to be spent on AR collection
- Communication to partners for delay in payment on a regular basis
- Quick response to VIP clients i.e. Sirva and BGRS
- Open AR/AP recon - QBO Vs. GMS
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the Event industry is a plus.
