Detail & Remuneration:
- Location: Kranji
- Salary: Up to $6,800, with AWS and Variable Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory accounting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management reports for the Group and all entities to ensure comprehensive financial oversight.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, and vendor payments, including monthly vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of all transactions.
- Oversee daily banking activities to support smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including preparation and submission of GST and other statutory filings.
- Coordinate and manage internal and statutory audits, working with external auditors to ensure a timely and efficient audit process.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team skills and performance.
- Identify and recommend areas for process improvement within finance and accounting functions.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a professional accounting certification is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a financial control role, preferably within the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction industry.
- Experience supervising a team about 2 to 3 members is ideal.
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
