Make an Impact by:
Provide subject matter expertise to support Finance Business Partners in providing IFRS related accounting support to business units, including evaluation of accounting treatments for new products and services, promotions and bundling offers, across both the Consumer and Enterprise businesses
Establish and maintain revenue recognition policies of new products and services, promotions and bundling offers adhering to accounting standards while ensuring operational efficiency and facilitating reporting
Process IFRS 15 accounting journals, perform materiality quantifications and reconciliations, validations and checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of IFRS 15 revenue accounting, as part of month end closing, financial reporting and audit
Collaborate with Finance Business Partners in Drivers, Trends & Variance Analysis to explain financial performance and derive business insights
Prepare balance sheet audit schedules and reconciliations for relevant IFRS 15 accounts
Assist with financial systems rollout, enhancements and testing as well as changes in upstream Business & Operational support systems and downstream financial systems
Liaise with Financial System Analysts and the Information Technology support team, to investigate and resolve any reconciliation differences or other system issues
Other ad hoc duties assigned
Skills for Success:
Degree in Accounting with 6-8 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong accounting technical knowledge and business acumen
Proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
