General Description of the Role
As part of the Campari Singapore finance team, this role is responsible for the financial accounting,tax and statutory reporting aspects of Campari Singapore.
Campari Singapore is the hub for three distinct areas:
Campari Asia Pacific Regional Headquarter
Commercial headquarter for the Asia Partnership markets across South East Asia and Taiwan
Singapore In Market Company
Providing accounting support to the Hong Kong branch
The role is responsible for the timely and accurate accounting, including all general ledger requirements, customer rebates review, tax compliance and reporting of monthly results as well as for the planning and forecasting of the selling and administrative costs for all Singapore based team.
In addition the role is the driver of process improvements within the transactional areas of the business.
As a key member of the Singapore finance team this position is involved in all internal and external audit processes as well liasing with external partners in relation to annual financial statements preparation, tax and government compliance matters.
As a key focal point between Singapore finance team and GBS Accenture, this role ensures quality financial delivery from the service centre to the business.
Mission/Objectives
To drive the accurate and timely accounting for Campari Singapore and compliance with all group and 3rd party reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Working with GBS Accenture team to manage timely month-end group reporting and submissions.
Preparation of overheads reports as well as detailed variance analysis. Presentation to management of monthly results and reforecasts.
Support, including problem solving, process improvements and new process development and documentation for all areas of accounting and statutory reporting.
Monthly review of balance sheet reconciliation to ensure a clean and sound account position and identify areas of potential risk.
Collaboration with KPMG teams for annual financial statements preparation.
Review weekly excise and N30 with supply chain for timely submissions to ATO/ACS.
Reviewing and submission of monthly BAS (GST, PAYG, WET, FBT instalment).
Reconciliation and reviewing FBT submission in conjunctions with KPMG.
Quarterly tax calculation and year-end tax preparation with KPMG.
Internal audit and external audit coordination and management.
Treasury management for Singapore entity
Annual insurance renewal coordination.
Ad hoc and projects.
Experience Required
CA Qualified, big four background
SAP or similar ERP experience essential
Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG and 8 years in finance and accounting
Audit and statutory reporting experience essential
Experience within the liquor or beverage industry an advantage
