Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will oversee Thoth's global financial operations, ensuring strong financial health across our international subsidiaries. This role requires proficiency in Singapore's finance, audit, and tax landscape, along with the ability to collaborate across borders and lead a team of accountants in each country. Based in either Singapore or Beijing, the Finance Manager will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and reporting, with a focus on supporting our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for Thoth's international entities.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to Singapore's finance, audit, and tax regulations, as well as compliance in each country of operation.
- Team Leadership: Manage a global team of accountants, fostering consistent and accurate financial management practices across all subsidiaries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Risk Management & Tax Strategy: Develop tax-efficient structures and mitigate financial risks unique to a tech-driven, multinational operation.
- Cash Flow & Resource Management: Oversee cash flow management and resource allocation to align with business priorities.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work with country-level finance leads to maintain unified financial practices and policies.
- Travel Requirements: Travel to Thoth's global offices as needed to support local teams and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in finance management, with expertise in Singapore finance, audit, and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in managing international finance operations within a tech BPO or AI industry.
- Strong proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills for coordinating across multiple countries.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills in cross-border settings.
