Responsible for all finance and accounting functions including cash forecasting, cash management, operational budgeting, accounting, auditing and financial reporting
Responsible for timely monthly, quarterly, budget, forecast analysis and management report presentation
Managing statutory financial accounts P&L review, Balance sheet review and intercompany reconciliation, identifying and following up on areas of concern within the reconciliation.
Preparing costing and pricing set up
Work closely with Business Unit Managers/MD to drive performance through: -
Monthly management P&L reviews and analysis
Market segmentation and competitor analysis
Cost management initiatives
Liaising with corporate secretary to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Assist with legal matters and liaising with governmental bodies
Liaise with external auditor and handle corporate taxation matters
Implementing accounting policies and internal control procedures and ensuring compliance
Able to manage multiple priorities and tight submission deadlines
Any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by the management
Requirement
Degree in Accounting, Finance. ACCA/CA/CPA is a plus.
Minimum 8 years of working experience preferably in Food & Beverage, Food Manufacturing, Equipment or commercial environment
Well versed in FRS, tax regulations, laws and any compliance requirements
Knowledge of accounting software MYOB is a plus
Strong analytical skills is a must and able to work independently
