Join our client's dynamic team as we seek a Junior Finance Associate (1year contract), who will encompass various responsibilities, focusing on fund management. You'll thrive in an agile environment, autonomously driving end-to-end finance operations while delivering insightful financial reporting.
Start out as a 1 year contract staff and progress to a full time permanent staff subjected to good performance!
Responsibilities:
Assisting in preparing and submitting all required reports to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on a quarterly and annual basis.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and deadlines.
Complete and submit various MAS surveys and questionnaires accurately and timely.
Assisting in managing the housekeeping of personal investment portfolios.
Maintain accurate records and manage the housekeeping of fund management shares.
Assisting in developing and managing the budgeting process for the fund.
Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates.
Assisting in cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity.
Manage cash allocation and forecasting.
Assisting in coordinating and managing statutory and internal audits.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address audit findings.
Participate in and manage the ISAE 3402 audit process.
Ensure controls and processes meet the ISAE 3402 standards.
Assist in preparing and submiting tax audit reports as required.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
Monitor and maintain limits of authority within the fund management operations.
Perform corporate secretariat duties, including the management of contracts, agreements, and board resolutions.
Organize and document Annual General Meetings (AGM) and maintain ACRA records.
Maintain and manage the records of all contracts and agreements.
Prepare and maintain records of board resolutions.
Organize and report on AGMs.
Maintain and update ACRA records in compliance with statutory requirements.
Maintain an updated list of all counterparties, including introducers and distributors.
Assist in calculating and disbursing fees for distributors and introducers.
Compute and ensure the timely collection of management fees.
Provide occasional support to operations, including trade settlement and other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in fund management or accounting operations.
Good knowledge of MAS regulations and reporting requirements.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
