Responsibilities
- Manage the daily financial operations
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for the company
- Partner with business units in matters covering but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, revenue and cost projection
- Prepare and present financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances to stakeholders including recommendations, highlight key variance, area of improvements where necessary
- Provide financial insight to business unit for timely decision making
- Support portfolio monitoring and reporting
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual investment reports
- Monitor and analyse portfolios financial metrics to identify potential impact to the investments and forecasts
- Stay updated of material developments within the portfolio companies, especially for valuation purposes
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents on audit and corporate tax matters.
- Prepare yearly budgets, including reviews of cash flow and working capital requirements
- Liaise with corporate secretary
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/ Finance
- At least 5 to 7 years of working experience preferably in operational finance, financial reporting, corporate finance
- Demonstrated experience in finance projection, revenue and cost analysis
- Strong acumen in financial management, financial processes, and business analytics
- Candidates with strong interest in Corporate Finance will be considered for the role
- Problem-solver, resourceful and organised to support and enable efficient and effective decision-making amongst stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Chartered Accountant will be a plus
