Basic Purpose / General Objective:
Key role that serves as the financial analyst for Asia regional office and Asia Commercial that covers Crude and Global LNG.
Key responsibilities
Accounting support for Crude and LNG activities, including actualize volume in Commercial system to accurately capture and report inventories, invoicing and associated A/R and A/P.
Derivative monthly MTM accounting, and related financial statement reporting.
Coordination and preparation of the Asia Commercial budget and outlooks.
Work with Commercial management to provide analysis and ad hoc reporting.
Work closely with Houston Commercial Coordinator to maintain and update SOX internal controls and process maps.
Provide and coordinate data for external reporting such as audit, tax, government questionnaire and statutory statistic surveys.
Provide cover for other team members as required.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance related.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and networks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong financial and/or accounting acumen.
Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Effective communication, influential and interpersonal skills.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase capabilities required.
Strong SAP FI user.
Preferred Skill and Experience
3-5 years experience in financial analysis in an Oil/Gas/LNG trading setting.
Commercial applications such as RightAngle and TriplePoint.
